Tampa Holocaust Memorial Service

Wednesday, April 30, 2008 | 7:00 pm at Temple David

All are invited to attend our community-wide Holocaust memorial service at Temple David. Our theme is "The Darkness Waits for Your Light."

Excerpts of Ruthka: A Diary of War will be read. It is the personal account of Ruthka Lieblich, a 13-year-old Jewish girl who died in Auschwitz. Her diary has been translated from Polish into English, Hebrew, and Russian. A video entitled BESA: The Jews of Albania, will also be shown. Please come and join the Tampa Bay Jewish community in lighting the 6 memorial lights and a 7th for the millions that were tragically murdered.
